Taste of New Futures 2024

On a perfect fall evening with sweeping views of the U.S. Capitol, our community came together for Taste of New Futures: Around the World. This annual event is a rooftop celebration featuring different cultures and cuisine in honor of New Futures Scholars and alumni.

Hosted by our incredible Associate Board, we transported guests across the globe highlighting six destinations that represent part of our diverse Scholar community: Barbados, Cameroon, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Sri Lanka, and Washington, DC. From authentic dishes and global flavors to live performances and dancing under the stars, the evening was filled with energy, joy, and purpose.

Together, we raised more than $25,000 to expand educational and career opportunities for young people in the DMV. These funds will directly help Scholars access the support, mentorship, and resources they need to thrive.
