Nick began his nonprofit career in 2006 as an AmeriCorps member in Chicago before moving to Miami to help launch a new site for a national service organization as a founding staff member. With more than a decade of experience in program roles, he brings a well-rounded, deeply grounded perspective to his communications and development work at New Futures.

Throughout his career, Nick has been a committed advocate for young people. He has worked on movements that were focused on educational equity, climate justice, and community empowerment. As a community college graduate himself, he understands personally how transformative accessible, affordable pathways can be in helping students find meaningful careers and long-term stability.

Nick approaches his work with contagious energy, purpose, and humility. He believes strongly in service to a cause greater than self and strives to use his unearned privilege to amplify the voices and lived experiences of others.

Outside of work, Nick is an enthusiastic consumer of nature documentaries, an overconfident pickup basketball player, a walking archive of random trivia, and an unreserved, joyful dancer. His wife and children inspire him to fight for a more equitable future every day.
