A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Katie began her career teaching middle and high school students, where she learned firsthand the power of pairing high expectations with personalized support. She later became a founding faculty member of Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep, helping to build a school culture rooted in community, encouragement, and opportunity.

Most recently, Katie helped manage an undergraduate service-learning program at San Diego State University, strengthening partnerships and supporting students in connecting their academic work with real-world impact. Having grown up in southeastern Virginia, she’s delighted to return to the region and to join a mission that reflects her values and passion for student success.

At New Futures, Katie is committed to building strong, trusting relationships with Scholars and accompanying them throughout their educational journey. She is excited to connect students with the resources, confidence, and support they need to thrive in and beyond the classroom.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to endless podcasts, exploring hiking trails, and cheering on women’s soccer.
