Congratulations to our fall 2010 scholars! The Board of Directors and close friends awarded and celebrated our 17 scholars on December 2nd at Meiwah Restaurant. We especially want to thank Meiwah Restaurant and owner, Larry La, for their generosity to host the dinner at a reduced cost.

The celebration consisted of a nice dinner, introduction by Mike Gould and speeches made by all the scholars in attendance. We thank our partner organizations, The Latin American Youth Center, Covenant House, Liberty’s Promise, Year Up, Community Club of the NY Ave. Presbyterian Church, For Love of Children and Hope and a Home for nominating such exceptional candidates for this fall’s selection. We are very proud of this scholar group and look forward to what they will accomplish in the coming years!
